Day 6

A little bad news.... I actually gained 1.7 pounds today.   We did go to the local Mexican restaurant shortly before I got on the Wii Fit, so I am not too discouraged.

Day 5

Today is a "no Wii Fit" training day.  Beginning next week I will start my next masters class at Devry and will have to skip "Wii Fit" workouts on Tuesdays for the next 8 weeks.  I figured I might as well start now ( I was very sore this morning anyway).

Nevertheless I plan to continue the Wii Fit "Body Test" everyday to track my BMI and weight metrics.

I have reached my first Wii Fit goal... This goal was 5 pounds.  The Wii Fit encouraged me to set a new goal of 5 pounds within the next month.  I hopefully won't have any trouble reaching this new goal, but as most of you are aware once you loose the inital "water weight" things slow down dramatically.

Day 4

Well no real news today.  I actually "maintained" instead of loosing weight.  I am not sure if it makes a difference or not, but we have been jumping on the Wii Fit after we finish with the dishes from supper.  In the grand scheme of things it really shouldn't matter, but I might do a bit of goggling to see if it makes any difference, which I doubt.

I did unlock the "Boxing" aerobic exercise, witch I believe will be a pretty good workout.

Day 3

So far so good. I am loving the Wii. I had to make myself stop to give my wife some time on it today. Today I have included a sample workout and stats for the day.

The Wii fit has been the best Wii accessory yet!

At least 2-3 iterations of the Advanced Steps
1 Free Step for 10mins
At least 1 iteration of one of the strength training exercises
At least 1 iteration of the Short Run
At least 1 iteration of Hula Hoops

Day 1



Well my wife and I just opened the Wii Fit that we bought ourselves for Christmas. All I can say is that the first weigh in is brutal. I was labeled as "obese" and my little Mii self at-least doubled in size once it knew my true weight. I plan on keeping a record of my training on here for the world to see.

After tonight's first training session here are my stats.
